I would like to know, how do I know if I have permission to use some images to my works, do I have to ask for permission, or all the material who can be downloaded is avaiable?

So on DA there are special category for free stock images. You can find them here: www.deviantart.com/browse/all/…
Just need to click on Deviantart logo to go to the main page, then you can type in search button word of image you needed. Then click on "Resourses and Stock Images" category - and all of this image you can use But be attentive - different deviants give their work with different rules. Often they wrote about rules in description of their image. I think if you are not sure - comment or note them and ask about rules Also often all images are free but you need to credit owner in description of your photomanipulation
